At the beginning of the electoral campaign, for the presidential election of October 7, 2018, the totalitarian regime in place for 36 years is shaken.
Hospitalization in cascade (Senate President, Minister of Defense, President of the Board of Directors of the Palais de Congrès, etc.); Accidents, dead dogs in the presidency, fainting of the first lady. Are not all these events precursors of the end of a reign?
If politics in Africa tends to stand out from superstition, recourse to certain esoteric practices is commonplace. Mystico-religious or animistic considerations directed towards a pragmatic goal of confiscation of power, remain preponderant in the Cameroonian political milieu.

The prophecies, the predictions, on the death of Paul Biya before the presidential election, issued by Guy Parfait Songué, political scientist and churchman, so far-fetched they might seem, have not left the power in place indifferent.
About ten days ago, the whole pack of oracles, cabalistic officiants, from the native region of Paul Biya, spread out in the public square his feats, to ward off bad luck, death. This initiatory caste, did she smell the danger or presume that the power is about to escape them?

Reality is stronger than magic
Superstition refers to beliefs considered unfounded, as opposed to science. Science is the transformation of our beliefs into rational laws. It is not enough in this case, in the face of the evidences which lurk the everyday life of the Cameroonians, to sink into incantations. Because, it is not the opportunities that have failed, it is not the human potential that has been lacking; nor is it nature that has made its whims. The conclusion is clear. Cameroonians are increasingly poor, excluded and neglected.
It is the fact of a man: Paul Biya
In the midst of this storm, must we rely on men or the Gods? Is Africa so attached to the spirits of water, fire, earth, deaf? These deaths, which are not dead, as described by Birago Diop, may show off the Cameroonian whining on a wall:
- In 36 years Cameroon middle-income country in 1982, has become HIPC (heavily indebted poor country), with 75% of the population living below the poverty line.
-In 36 years Cameroon, formerly quiet country, is transformed into no man's land: War zone English, war in the Far North; Cutters of roads here, big banditism by that.
-Lack of dialogue and surrounded by obsolete centralism, Anglophones feeling marginalized, secede.
-The emergence expected in 2035 can only be achieved if growth of at least 7% is observed for a period of 10 years. In 1982, growth was 13% and today we are at 3.2%.
-Innovation: internet all African countries start 4G while Cameroon is still 2G. The university campuses do not have wifi, the laboratories are bloodless; university administration is manual.
-In 36 years 75% of young people are unemployed; The latest show is an SOS launched by a young boy who has barely begun, who complained of ill-treatment and called for the mobilization of his fate and that of many other anonymous embassy in Kuwait. A few months earlier, there were other young boys sold as slaves in Libya (young people with faults to be motorcycle-taximen, are enlisted in the churches of revival, or are candidates for the crossing of the oceans by canoe in the quest grail).

-Since 2011, Paul Biya has visited two regions Littoral and South-West; but between 2013 and 2018 the crises were multiple: Floods, extrajudicial execution, abductions. It seems that he would go for campaign reasons as of September 29 in the Far North and other regions; it only needs to be Cameroonian to endorse such treachery.
- The Cameroonian army holds the world record of having in its workforce, active officers recruited since 1960 (generals: Meka, Ivo, Ngoua Ngally, Mpay, Nkoa, Obama, etc.), hum!
At the rate things are going, with this amorphous and moribund state, it is only right for nature to resume its rights.
