Rockford Josphat: Why Roki Relocated to His Rural Village
Harare – After a long hiatus from the music melodrama – Rockford Josphat aka Roki of the Chidzoka hit – has finally relocated home – and chosen his rural home – causing a media frenzy.
After selling his old studio equipment – the 33-year old controversial but gifted crooner has elected to settle in Chitsvatsva Village in Seke rural area near Chitungwiza, being parcelled by land barons into residential stands.Roki does not regret moving to the communal lands, saying he could’ve done a lot more with the money he wasted renting in Harare.

“With the house in Chitsvatsva village, I wake up every day with plans to construct my own studio and do other projects since it belongs to me.
“Kuroja kwakandishaisa zvakawanda but here in Seke all is well with the availability of electricity, which helps me to do many things that makes my music industry grow,” he said.
Meanwhile, Roki has promised more singles before end of year, further mocking the media for revealing the story that he could not afford rentals in Harare.
“Forgive them Father they need to sell their newspapers,” he commented after newspaper said Roki is reported to be staying with his sister and her children after failing to keep up with rentals in the city.
