War Ambazonia: 10 Men To Protect Paul Biya From Now On [Video]

The security habits around President Paul Biya seem to have undergone some modifications because of the current situation in Cameroon

It is an impressive security device that was, in fact, set up around the Head of State yesterday Sunday at Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde during the final of the Cameroon Cup.

In place of the six bodyguards who usually accompany Paul Biya during these public outings, there were a total of 10 soldiers to be part of the president's bodyguards yesterday at the Omnisport Stadium in Yaounde.

In addition to this measure, there was also a large number of heavily armed soldiers around the stadium. Provisions interpreted by some observers as a show of force of the Cameroonian army in the current context marked by the numerous attacks of secessionists in the English-speaking regions of the country.

Since the beginning of November, more than a dozen Cameroonian soldiers and police have been murdered by secessionists in the English-speaking regions. On 1 December last, the head of state Paul Biya launched a military offensive against the secessionists considered by the government as "terrorists".

A decision that forced Yaoundé to be on high alert according to some indiscretions. War Ambazonia: 10 men to protect Paul Biya from now on [Video]
