Grooming for Upcoming Authors

RCG Emergy Consultancy and Events Management will this weekend hold an upcoming authors' workshop at Long Life College in the capital.

The workshop is meant to empower upcoming authors and to link them with the industry's gurus to get mentorship. In an interview, organiser of the worksho Rairo Chengetai Gunguwo said they realised that there was a lot of hidden talent as far as writing is concerned and the workshop is meant to have upcoming authors nurtured by those who have been in the industry for a long time.

"Running under the theme 'Unearthing Zimbabwe's Treasure, Giving Zimbabwean Upcoming Authors Recognition they Deserve', the workshop will at least bring the hidden talent out, giving the upcoming authors time to share their work with the public and getting guidance from the gurus of the industry on how to break ground and conquer the industry," she said.

Gunguwo highlighted that industry's big names including renowned writer and actor Aaron Chiundura Moyo, representatives from Inko Publishing, editors from Zimbabwe Publishing House among others will grace the workshop to assist the upcoming artists.
