‘She is a baby making making machine’

A HARARE man pulled a shocker in court when he said his wife was a baby making machine.

Tawanda Ndahwi said he married,his wife ,Ndakaitei Kalanga so that she would bear him children and that is exactly what she should do .

The couple is terminally ill but Tawanda insisted that Ndakaitei should fall pregnant when he wants her to .

“I married her so that we can have children.I know that we are taking drugs but that does not stop us from having children.I was surprised to see that she has a jadelle and I ordered her to have it removed.Being sick does not stop us from having children.

“I have noticed that she does not want to have se_x with me anymore or rather she is no longer enjoying it.Maybe she is getting satisfaction from someone else.I take care of her by giving her everything she wants,”he said.

Ndakaitei,however,had a different tale.

“This man physically,emotionally,economically,verbally and se_xually abuses me. He forced me to have unprotected se_x with him despite our health condition.

“We have been advised by health practitioners that we should use protection always but he does not want to do that.Now that he got me pregnant ,he does not want to take care of me.I need special treatment in my condition and nurses have told me that they will not attend to me if I do not bring certain things.

“They gave me a list of the items that are wanted but he has not bought anything yet.I am due anytime now but he does not seem to care at all.He sold our cattle so that he could send his girlfriend to school.I am suffering because of this man,”she said.

Presiding magistrate,Barbra Mateko ordered Tawanda to refrain from abusing his wife in any form.
