The Spiritual Spectacles Prophet ‘UNMASKED’ At Last.

There has been mayhem in the high density suburb of Glen-View for the better half of 2015 as a youthful prophet claimed to transfer prophetic powers to congregates in a phenomenon he termed the “Spiritual Spectacle”.

Under this concept , thirty -three year old Prophet Tapiwa Freddy of Goodness and Mercy Ministries prays for an individual and immediately his/her eyes are “anointed’ with a spiritual eye where they can prophesy on their own.

Despite wide criticism from various religious circles. Prophet Freddy maintained that there was nothing amiss about his prophetic strength and he stood by his stance.

Said Prophet Freddy: “We believe that salvation comes through Jesus Christ and I was endowed with a rare gift of spiritual spectacles and its biblical.

‘I can cite an example when Prophet Elisha prayed for his servant to prophesy as written in the book of Second Kings Chapter 6 vs 17.

“There are several biblical examples including a donkey that was given spiritual spectacles in the book of Numbers.”

“I believe this increases a person’s faith.”

Last Year Prophet Freddy made noise when a married couple confronted him with the wife accusing her husband of cheating but they received ‘Spiritual Spectacles’ where the wife saw the real truth and the marriage was saved.

The testimonial of the accused was aired on a national radio station (name supplied) and the Standard Lifestyle is in possession of the testimonial video.

But who is Prophet Freddy and how did he get this rare gift of being a ‘spiritual spectacles specialist’?

In a no holds bars interview with the Standard Lifestyle, Prophet Freddy revealed that he started prophesying at the age of 10 when he was still in primary school in the dusty streets of Glen View.

“I got my calling when I was in grade 4 and since then I have been prophesying.” he revealed.

After high school at Glen View High 2, Prophet Freddy enrolled for bible school at Soul Travailing Bible Institute from 2010-2012 and proceeded to His Present Ministries.

He also had a successful stint in gospel music where he made a name for himself after releasing two albums namely Mesiya (2002) and Serevende in 2006.

His hit titled Mesiya komborera taken off his first album Mesiya made it to the charts and received generous airplay on local radio stations.

However, this was to be shelved as a result of pressure that he received from his prophetic mission.

“I had to suspend music because I wanted to concentrate on the ministry and become a fisher of men.

‘However, I am working on a third album because I believe music is a good way to capture people to turn to God and I have a strong passion on music,” he said.

Prophet Freddy is happily married and the couple also runs a charity organisation called Goodness and Mercy Hand Of Care which has embarked on several philanthropic missions in Harare with the latest one being in Epworth where more than 500 children benefited.
