Mona Dube and Tinashe Gazza caught up in fresh controversy
Tinashe Gazza, who grabbed headlines for bashing is former wife on accusations of dating a soccer player ,was yesterday punished by the court for his conduct. Gaza was yesterday fined $20 for battering Mona Dube and will spend 10 days in prison if he fails to pay the fine.
He appeared at Harare magistrates court for battering Mona saying she was dating Archford Gutu.The 27-year-old admitted to the offence when he appeared before magistrate Arnold Maburo.
“I admit to the offence,” said Gazza.

“I was called by one of my guys saying she was with someone.
“I then saw her with Archford Gutu whom she is dating”.
Mona told the court that Gazza was in the habit of assaulting or threatening her each time he sees her in the company of a male companion.
“We used to stay together and we separated.But if he sees me with anyone he assaults or threatens me,”she said.
State counsel ,Oscar Madhume had it that on January 8 at around 530pm,Mona was at Macdonald swimming pool with her daughter .
Gazza reportedly approached Mona and started shouting at her calling her names in the process.The 27-year-old told his former lover that he would harass her for the rest of her life.
Gazza later asked Mona for a private conversation .They walked for a distance before he started manhandling her.He pulled Mona ‘s hair extensions before tearing her skirt.The 28-year-old went to lodge a complaint with police leading to Gazza’s arrest.
