Latest On Borrowdale Egg Ritual:Three More Eggs Found

The case in which a mysterious egg with several words written in red ink was allegedly dumped in Borrowdale by some two women,has taken new twist after three more eggs were dumped.  

However the first egg to be dumped has since disappeared from the scene.The three eggs which were dumped 1.2km from where the first egg was dumped are similarly out on tree stumps near the fence of a goal course along Alpes Road.

And if that is not enough ,one of the eggs whose message is legible has the same message as the first egg.

“We heard there were three more eggs which had been dumped by the same woman because she was seen by some people who were playing golf here at the course.
 “And I saw that indeed three more eggs had been dumped but when we went to see the other egg,we saw it had disappeared .

“We are not sure if it broke but we didn’t s see any shells for us to say that but just some kind of dry residue on the ground.The same woman who dumped the first egg came and did this just that this time around ,she did not have the same car.

“After dumping the eggs just like on the first occasion ,she sped off,” revealed Jealousy Mapiya ,a caddie.

Asked if there was a risk that some residents near the are a had tampered with the first egg and it broke,Jealousy said “ahh no vanhu vaitotya kutamba naro zai iroro.”

When H-metro arrived at the scene ,one of the three eggs had broken and Jealousy said it could have recently happened since the last time they checked on them ,it was intact.
One of the eggs was placed on a tree stump just inside the golf course ‘s electric fence.

The message on one of the eggs which was legible went “Mercy Funda uchafa uchitambura uchisemwa setvina yembwa.Haungambotore murume wangu Mugo”.

Since the eggs are being dumped at areas near the golf club ,this reporter asked Jealousy if there was anyone by that name and he said he did not know anyone by the name Mugo.

Such acts have been described by some people as trying to harm a love rival judging from the message and should not be taken lightly.
