“Social media have become the favourite ground for the sponsors of terrorism orchestrated by Cameroonians in the diaspora. Crouched in the shadows and hidden behind the keyboards of their computer and smartphones, these Cameroonians of the diaspora spread hate speech and terror and do not hesitate to order murders,” Philemon Yang said.

The emergency plan which the Government of Cameroon revealed, went ahead to list at least ten anglophone Cameroonians whom the government accused of raising funds in fueling the violence.

The government of Cameroon also added that they had written to the host countries to repartriate these Cameroonians to face the law.
