Skimbo Releases Film About His Nasty Ordeal at The Hands of Lady Squanda

Local comedian and blogger, Skimbo- real name Tatenda Matika- has produced a short film entitled ‘Tsoka Dzerwendo’ reflecting on the abuse he suffered at the hands of Lady Squanda after he was forced to lick her feet.

The 13 minute long film which is trending on various social media platform was shot on four different locations and has a cast of eight people.

In an interview, Skimbo said the short film project marks the beginning of his career in the film industry. Tsoka Dzerwendo is a short film which I produced based on a true story of what happened last year when I was forced to lick Lady Squanda’s feet.

“Though it was not a pleasant experience, I know I will always remember what happened that day and filming it was the only way to document what took place,” he said.

Skimbo said he named the short film Tsoka Dzerwendo owing to the opportunities he got after the incident.

“After I licked Lady Squanda’s feet I then started getting a lot of opportunities and I started having so many tours hence I called the film Tsoka Dzerwendo,” he said. Despite what happened, Skimbo said he is now in good books with Lady Squanda.

When I shot the film, I wanted to ask Lady Squanda to be part of the cast but unfortunately I was not aware of her whereabouts. Though we have not been communicating much, I am happy that Lady Squanda and I have resolved our differences and we no longer hold grudges against each other,” he said.
