Biya Orders Surveillance Cameras Be Installed in All Ten Regions of Cameroon
Head of State Paul Biya has ordered that surveillance cameras be installed in all ten regions of the country, according to information in the columns of the Évolution newspaper (journal Évolution).

In mid-February, the Chinese firm Huawei Technologies and the Cameroonian government signed a contract to install the intelligent system, following negotiations dating back to 2009. 350 video cameras were to be installed in the main arteries of the city. City of Yaoundé.
